It's a 92 silverado and the front is bagged and the back will be soon. I went a Monroe shock thats 13" collapsed and 20" extended and it's not allowing me to lay out. I had my front shock replocators made and they are just like the weld on kits u buy. Any suggestions or pointers? I found this link due to all my research but wanted to check with my locals.

Dont have pictures of when i picked it up decided to take some pictures after i already started th ebody work and stripped it.

Picked this 98 scsb up out of hammond, previous owner cut every wire in every harness in the truck since he tried to put a carberated motor in it, had to replace all the harnesses so decided while i had th edash out i was gonna paint the interior and dash.












truck was pretty beat up side of cab and bed was smashed from previous owner, changed th efront cap one fender was beat up and he decided to cut the radiator support to hell to get the a/c condensor out instead of removing the grill.










found this at pullapart a while back and paid 20 bucks for it its not broke up just dirty lol, always said if i built one it would have a denali console in it.

I picked the truck up from a classic car dealer out of Dallas in the first part of March the truck has 47,XXX miles on it. The power comes from a 350 backed by a Th400 and a Dana 70 rear axle. I wanted to find a clean starting point to build from and I came across this and jumped on it. My plans are to bag it and put it on 22.5 or 24.5 inch wheels with some 22 or 24 shoe horned on the wheels.I am shooting for it to lay rockers and after talking with a few people I have came to the conclusion that I need a rear axle from a single wheel 1 ton or a 3/4. I will also need to swap out the front rotors to a non bud style wheel. So I am on the lookout for a 14 bolt from a 3/4 ton or 1 ton. If you know where one is PM me please! I have one under my 1976 Jimmy but I really don't want to rob parts from a truck that I can drive daily. I hate to say this but in away I am copying Justin Austin red and white truck which is so freaking sweet IMO. Anywhoooo, enough talkin' I have not really got started on the truck yet I have been busy working on a rental property and trying to get my new pace finish up so we could get moved in before our first child is born on May the 10th. ]]> Build Threads Oilburner http://latruckscene.net/forum/showthread.php?t=10773 http://latruckscene.net/forum/showthread.php?t=10765&goto=newpost Mon, 30 Apr 2012 01:09:08 GMT well i figured it was time to make a build thread for my latest project..... i picked this truck up from a guy here locally.... the truck was all... well i figured it was time to make a build thread for my latest project..... i picked this truck up from a guy here locally.... the truck was all stock when i picked it in early january.... a real good buddy of mind Trey Cooley had a frame that he already had had built for a c10, so i picked that up from him also..... me and my bro in law worked on the truck day and nite, eveyday day for 2 months to have it completed just in time for Lonestar Throwdown in Conroe, TX at the end of february.... we plumbed the entire frame wit stainless hardline and 6 3/8s valves, new fuel line, found a small block crate motor, slipped in a small cam, edelbrock intake and carb, headers, hei billet distributer, and a few billet drees up goodies, installed a fresh built 700r4 tranny, dual exhaust with flowmasters, nostalgic style high rise lokar shifter, installed a tilt column and shortend up the steerin linkage 3in for some extra room in the cab....i got a few more lil plans for the truck, but thats enough talkin, heres some of the build pic....hope yall enjoy!!!
